Once you learn the basics of hot water bath canning you’ll be free to stock your pantry, make holiday gifts, and put up more of your homegrown or CSA food.
In this class you’ll learn how to keep seasonal fruits through winter by preserving them as jams, jellies, and chutneys. Canning materials, produce and handouts with instructions, recipes and helpful tips are included. This is a hands-on course. Please bring a small box to carry home still-hot preserves.
