Learn how to preserve your own jams and jellies! Wisconsin Certified Master Food Preserver Annie Wegner LeFort will lead this hands-on class. Participants will experience canning fruits such as strawberries or rhubarb into jams and preserves using a hot water bath canner. Included in the price of the class are all the canning materials, fruit, and handouts with instructions, recipes and helpful tips. Bring an apron if you’d like as well as a bag or small box in which to carry home still-hot jars of preserves. $35 UEC members, $40 non-members. Please register by June 6.
