Summer was peak season for canning local produce and also high time for tending gardens among other activities. Perhaps you didn’t get as much home-canning done as you’d have liked. If you at least had a chance to throw some local fruits in the freezer you can make wonderful jams and jellies with them in the off-season. In this hands-on canning class, Annie will teach you how to use these frozen fruits for preserving. Bring an apron if you wish and a small box to take home your finished products. $40 Residents, $65 Non-Residents
