Food Preservation Basics

In this lecture and demonstration, Annie, a Certified Wisconsin Master Food Preserver and professional food preservation specialist, will explain the benefits and challenges of various food preservation techniques with an emphasis on hot-water-bath canning. There is no hands-on participation in this class, however it is the basis for all of Annie’s other canning classes this season. Handouts with recipes and helpful tips are included.  Please register by May 1. UEC members$25, Non-members $30.
