Intro to Food Preservation: Tomatoes

Enjoy garden fresh tomatoes all year long! In this class, Annie will focus on the hot water bath canning technique, but will also cover freezing, drying and dehydrating as they apply to putting up all those beautiful, delicious tomatoes in your garden and at the farmers’ market. Students will be guided through the methods and steps for canning tomato products safely. Class participants will go home with jars of canned product, instruction handouts, recipes, and the confidence to start preserving! Suggested Class Donation: $45. Please register by September 7.
