Canning fruits and vegetables in a vinegar base is an age old practice for preserving summer’s harvest. Annie will guide participants in a hands-on efforts to preserve early summer vegetables. Recipes are included in the handouts. Feel free to bring an apron and a small box to carry home still-hot preserves. Please register by June 19. UEC Members $35, Non-members $40.
