Cooking with Tofu

If you’ve ever tried tofu and were turned off by its bland flavor or unusual texture give it a second chance. This soy product has been popular among vegetarians and vegans for decades, but there are many ways for carnivores to enjoy it at as well. In this demonstration, Annie will give tips on how to select the best tofu for various preparations and will demonstrate for you to taste Basic Miso Soup with Tofu; Tofu Mayonnaise; Tofu, Herb and Vegetable Loaf; Tofu and Lentil Tacos; Thai Bean and Tofu Burgers with Peanut Sauce; and Chocolate Tofu Cake with Banana “Cream” Frosting.
