In this 3-part, hands-on soupmaking class young cooks ages 6-10 years old (without an adult) will learn the basics of making soup from scratch using a variety of ingredients and techniques. Recipes are included and students will be able to taste and take home their soups at the end of each class.
PART ONE: Saturday, February 4, 2017, 10 AM-12 PM: Broth-based Vegetable Soups. Register by Tuesday, January 31.
PART TWO: Saturday, March 4, 2017, 10 AM-12 PM: Pureed Soups and Garnishes. Register by Tuesday, February 28.
PART THREE: Saturday, April 1, 2017, 10 AM- 12 PM: Cream Soups and Dessert Soups. Register by Tuesday, March 28.
Classes are FREE, but registration is required; space is limited. One does NOT have to sign up for all three classes.
