A Day of Mindful Food Writing

Is your palate leading you to write about food? Do you have an idea for a book, memoir, fiction project, essay or article about food but need a creative boost? Join us for this exciting new food-writing workshop led by Kristine Hansen, a Milwaukee-based nationally published food/drinks and travel writer, paired with a delicious locally sourced lunch by Annie Wegner LeFort of The Mindful Palate.
Prepare for a full day of writing practice and guidance along with a meditative walk through the beautiful grounds of Wellspring. This organic farm is home to a labyrinth, vibrant community-supported-agriculture program, and light-filled workshop space. … all in a relaxed setting where you can focus on food and reconnect with nature.

–a 10-minute private session with Kristine (for the first five students who pay in full)
–a chef-prepared made-from-scratch vegetarian lunch and snack (with take-home recipes)
