June 26, 6:30-8:30 Early Summer Pickles Canning fruits and vegetables in a vinegar base is an age old practice for preserving summer’s harvest. Annie will guide participants in a hands-on efforts to preserve early summer vegetables. Recipes are included in the handouts. Feel free to bring an apron and a small box to carry home still-hot preserves. Please register by June 19. UEC Members $35, Non-members $40.

In this class, Annie will demonstrate how to make a variety of gluten-free breads that don’t require yeast for leavening: Savory Crepes, Grain-Free Flatbreads (Gluten-Free Wraps), Herb and Seed Crackers, and Gluten-Free Tortillas. They make versatile bases for wraps, quesadillas, spreads, and more. Please register by July 13.

  In this demonstration Annie will show you how to create delicious, healthy, simple gluten-free dishes for each meal of the day (plus dessert!) She will also discuss how to adapt recipes to be gluten-free and how to make these recipes more versatile with the seasons: Sweet Potato Hash, Roasted Garlic Toasted Quinoa, Catalan Meatballs, and Pumpkin Fudge.
