Learn how to prepare these infinitely adaptable one-dish meals. Annie will demonstrate how to pair flavors, textures, and colors of grains, proteins, vegetables, fruits, nuts, and dressings to create beautiful, nutrient-dense bowls! A Roasted Sweet Potato and Tofu Bowl and a Quinoa Roasted Carrot Bowl with Beet Pesto are on the menu. Ideas for gluten-free options will be available. Recipes and samples provided. This is an introductory class and demonstration of the basic techniques of hot water bath canning both fruits and vegetables and a good primer for upcoming preserving classes but not a prerequisite. Once you learn the basics of hot water bath canning you'll be free to stock your pantry, make holiday gifts, and put up more of your homegrown or CSA food.
